Philadelphia Lantern Festival

Standard

It’s ending soon, so do not miss this one-of-a-kind festival. I felt like I was transported back to childhood, yet this childhood somehow seems native to the states. Well, I spent my childhood in Taiwan and that was the last time I saw lanterns like these, but now Chinese culture is part of America, just like so many other cultures that immigrants brought with them. In this “city of brotherly love” Philadelphia, it’s perfect to celebrate the rebirth of Franklin Square by sharing cultures and lighting up the dark sky. A truly unique experience.
