The Window

Standard

The window is too small, for me see you on the other side of the wall.

The window is too big, for me to give up looking, so I hesitate and linger.

Light and air freely dance around on both sides of the rectangular box;

Mixing temptation of hope and trepidation of disappointment.

The window is big, or small, only because

My heart swells, and withers, for love.
