Rivertowns along Hudson

Standard

Hiking along Old Croton Aqueduct Trail and passing by several towns along the way, is an easy and relaxing getaway from New York City. It’s only about half an hour away from the city center. Take the Metro North railway’s East of Hudson line from Grand Central Terminal to one of the towns on Hudson riverbank and walk on the Old Croton Aqueduct Trail until you are tired, then get on the train in the next station along the same line. We got off at Dobbs Ferry and walked on the trail until we got to Hasting-on-Hudson. The trail, the towns, and views from the riverbank are all very enjoyable.
