Natto is like Japanese cheese. Try it with Japanese pasta.
3 ounces soba noodles
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 garlic clove, minced
¼ cup chopped tomato
¼ cup mushroom
½ tablespoon soy sauce
¼ teaspoon Dijon mustard
¼ teaspoon honey
½ teaspoon lemon juice
1 pack natto (about 1.25 ounce)
1 tablespoon chopped green onion
Cook soba noodles according to instruction on the package.
Mix soy sauce, Dijon mustard, honey, lemon juice and natto. (If you choose to use the seasoning pack that comes with the natto pack, you can reduce the amount of ingredients outlined here.
Heat olive oil in a pan, sauté garlic, tomato and mushroom until fragrant and soft.
Add soba and the sauce-natto mixture, stir to mix.
Turn off heat, move to serving plate and top with green onion.
