My father used to show me around the world using View-Master and the slides he bought while traveling for work. We used to lie down on the floor, lifting the ViewMaster against the light source, and enjoy a trip around the world in three minutes.
View-Master was my favorite toy. They are not popular any more, but the joy I experienced remains, and the miraculous feeling of traveling through pace and time while sitting still in my room became even stronger.
Sightseeing doesn’t depend on sight alone. True sightseeing always depends on the heart, because heart is what sees, not the eyes.
